A New Wine that’s Divine for your Valentine

That’s a lot of rhyming, we know, but we just couldn’t resist.

You’re most likely gearing up for some Valentine’s Day fun and what fun is Valentine’s Day without a little wine?

We’re normally not into promoting a specific wine, but for this one, we just had to, it’s just so perfect! Kracher Days of Wine and Roses 2008. It’s a blend of Welshriesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay and, we gotta say, it’s delicious. Orange zest, lemon, light tropical fruits and… you guessed it… roses on the nose and palate bring you to lighter days. At 12.5% abv you won’t have to worry about your Valentine falling asleep before dinner’s over either (and they’ll be ready for a little fun after the bottle’s done!) Try pairing this with a seafood or chicken dish.

The Kracher Estate is most famously known for their sweet wines, often coined “liquid gold” having earned a level of prestige earned by few others. However, the estate also vinifies several delicious dry wines such as Days of Wine and Roses, Pinot Gris and Zweigelt. That’s not to say that you can’t pick up a bottle of the decadent dessert wines for a little after dinner fun!

Still white wine not your thing? Well there’s always the dessert wine, or a St. Laurent or Austrian Pinot Noir… and don’t forget the bubbles. Sparkling Gruener Veltliner is always a crowd pleaser.

This wine retails for $15.99 and is available in IL, MA, RI, NH, HI.
