Jancis Robinson, MW Scores Austrian Whites Highest!

A recent chart was released by Jancis Robinson compiling the average scores of each wine region’s wines.

Unsurprisingly, Austrian whites topped the list of white wines gathering the highest average scores from the years 1999-2012 placing above more famous regions such as Germany, France, and Italy.

This is truly a great honor, but once again proves that Austrian wine has earned its place amongst the elite wines of the world over and over again.

Thank you, Jancis, and to the rest of you: drink up and prost!
