Thanksgiving has come and gone, but we’re still excited about all the great food & wine pairing suggestions we saw the past few weeks. The good news is, that despite the holiday’s passing, these wine reco’s from our friends live on for other upcoming holidays and get togethers – and who knows, you may even have a Thanksgiving celebration to come.

Here are a few of the great articles we came across:

Serious Eats stirred up some great recommendations for both drinking on a budget and for gifts for the host highlighting the diversity of Austrian wine at all price points (something we’re proud to promote!)

Bottlenotes let us know the perfect drink for all Thanksgiving activities - check out which sparkling wine they chose for the parade. (hint: it’s Austrian!)

Maslow 6 got in on the action by offering 15% off all Riesling wines from Austria to Australia. Unfortunately, this deal is over, but don’t forget to visit their website for more great information, hot deals, informative classes and excellent wines!

One of our favorite Girl’s with a Glass, Alana Gentry, was on the right track this holiday with her picks for white wines. Check out what she planned to pop with her turkey.

SamCooks.com also gave us some pointers on what to sip over the long weekend. What did they choose? Check it out!

Frderic Koeppel of Bigger than Your Head skipped the Thanksgiving fanfare an went straight to Black Friday recommendations (can you blame him?) Check out the inexpensive wines that made him so thankful.

Looking for some good values? Check out this article by Paul Gregutt - pay special attention to the sparkling wines!
This is just a handful of the great recommendations we saw – can’t wait to see what’s in store for upcoming season!
